99% of all guitarists do not survive the fall off Dave Matthews Peak, the splintered remains of their Yamaha acoustics and worn, browned strings littering the ground beneath.
The ones that do have a long period of thankless chop building ahead of them, which is paid off when they become True Bluesmen.
I… Wait, whaaaaaaa!? True? But… Then… False as well? Bdaihfjkxbcosjzo…
*head ‘splosion*
LOL thats pretty true!
So guitar-playing ability isn’t a factor?
I think it depends on what style of music you are playing!
My last name is buscemi….so this is kinda weird lol
I started at 15, now 48, over the last few years I’ve remember why I began. A hobby became work (audio engineer) and about strangled the life out of it. But playing now is a complete rediscovery. The externalities are just amenities, getting girls gets too much hype in media. Do play on for what reasons you have, you’ll grow and play all your life. As Joesph Campbell said ‘the journey is not the destination, its the journey which counts’.
really thats a stupid chart, playing guitar is for the love of it, at least for me. Brendon Small is 35 at the bottom of that chart, and hes still a guitar god, suck it chart.
Great chart!
It is honestly funny having been on both sides of the guitar-player thing.
All of a sudden, girls who would not have given you the time of day beforehand, want to hang out for coffee and know all about you and what that really awesome solo version of the DM tune you played means to you, because it was like, so Rad.
Bitches, man…
Hey i gotta drive a Dodge Challenger 2011 – does it fit also?
